Terms and Conditions for Payments and Tips (QRandPay Users)
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the QRandPay platform (“Platform”), which enables users (“you”, “payer”) to make non-cash tips, donations, and order payments using QR codes, NFC, payment links, or other supported methods.
By proceeding with any payment via QRandPay, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. About QRandPay
QRandPay (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates a digital payment platform that facilitates:
Non-cash tips
Order or invoice payments
Donations
Other supported payment types
We provide the technology to route payments securely to merchants, service providers, and staff.
We do not provide banking, lending, payroll, or financial advisory services.
Payments are processed through licensed third-party payment processors, including:
Stripe
EveryPay (SEB Bank partner)
We do not store or process card details.
2. Service Description
The Platform enables you to:
Leave a voluntary tip to a staff member
Pay for goods/services ordered from a merchant
Make a donation where applicable
Payment methods may include:
Bank cards
Apple Pay / Google Pay
SEB/EveryPay
Other methods available at the time of payment
A service fee may apply and will be displayed before confirming your payment.
3. Relationship Between You, QRandPay, and the Merchant
For order payments: QRandPay acts only as a technical intermediary.
The merchant is solely responsible for service delivery, product quality, order accuracy, and refunds.For tips: Tips are voluntary payments made to individuals or groups. These are not payments for goods or services.
QRandPay is not responsible for the merchant’s or service provider’s actions.
4. License and Acceptable Use
You may use the Platform only for legitimate payment purposes. You may not:
Reverse-engineer or tamper with the Platform
Use the Platform for unlawful or fraudulent activities
Attempt to bypass security features
Use automated systems without permission
5. Data Processing & Privacy
By using QRandPay, you acknowledge that we may process:
Transactional data
Device and technical information
Optional personal data (e.g., email for receipts)
All processing is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.
Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe and/or EveryPay in compliance with PCI-DSS and EU regulations.
6. Fees and Charges
Some payments may include:
A QRandPay service fee
Payment processor fees
Merchant-specific fees (if applicable)
All fees are displayed before completing your payment.
By confirming payment, you agree to the displayed total.
7. Refunds
Order payments
Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks for order payments must be handled directly with the merchant who provided the goods or services.
Tips & Donations
Tips and donations are generally non-refundable, as they are voluntary and immediately routed to staff.
8. Liability and Disclaimers
QRandPay provides the Platform “as is” and “as available”.
We do not guarantee:
uninterrupted access
error-free operation
compatibility with all devices
We are not liable for:
merchant actions
service or product quality
incorrect data provided by merchants
payment network issues
user mistakes (wrong amount, wrong recipient, etc.)
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Payment Providers
All payments are processed by licensed third-party providers. By making a payment, you agree to their terms:

QRandPay does not store card numbers or sensitive payment details.
10. Termination and Suspension
We may restrict or terminate access if:
suspicious or fraudulent behavior is detected
you violate these Terms
required by law or payment providers
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Vilnius.
12. Age Restriction
You must be at least 18 years old (or legal age in your region) to use the Platform.
13. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
14. Modifications to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Updates become effective upon publication on the Platform.
Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
